Hugo is a second year undergraduate student at UCL, studying Italian and History of Art. On the accordion, he plays mostly Scottish, Irish and English traditional music, but also plays jazz and classical music and likes to incorporate different elements of all these styles into his playing. Outside of uni, Hugo enjoys going to folk sessions and ceilidhs, rock climbing, and designing lighting for theatre.
Isaac is a second-year medic from Wales. He plays fiddle and is keen to learn more about the different styles of folk music in the UK. Outside uni, Isaac likes fishing and hiking. You can usually find Isaac hitting the strings at our sessions or hitting the books at the library (not literally, that’s unethical). Isaac is looking forward to discovering new folk artists and exploring the London folk scene.
